Two Feasts on the Glorious Twelfth

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

12 August, the Glorious Twelfth,  marks the celebration of the Feast for the First Night of the Prophet and His Bride. This Feast is commemorates the marriage of our Prophet and Rose Edith Kelly in 1903, who was so central to the reception of the Book of the Law.

AMeTh Lodge gathered to celebrate this Feast at 8.00pm on Friday, 12 August e.v., Anno Vii  in 20° in 12°

This date also marks the 189th anniversary of the death of William Blake, one of our Gnostic Saints.  With this in mind, this year we utilised the rich historical landscape we inhabit here in London and as prelude to our celebration of this Holy Day we enjoyed readings and libations at the site of William Blake’s final resting place in Bunhill Fields Cemetery.

Love is the law, love under will.

Feast of the Stars: starting the new vulgar year with a celebration of Beauty

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Last Saturday we gathered here at AMeTh Lodge to celebrate the Feast of the Stars, one of the Cross-Quarter Rituals devised by Tau Polyphilus (you can read more about them here), to properly kickstart this new vulgar year with Beauty.

Here’s a glimpse of what the Temple looked like, and some of the Brethren gathered together right after the ritual.

Love is the law, love under will.
