Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

The Sun moved into the first point of Cancer at the Summer Solstice and remains there until the 22nd of this month. Atu VII:The Chariot refers to Cancer, cardinal sign of the Trigon of the element of Water, the House of Luna & Neptune and the sign in which Jupiter is exalted. Cancer is ruled by Luna and today She went full at 05.06, the high tide of the ebb and flow of Lunar power, both amplifying and creative, available now to work with in magick. From here on, a time to know consciously and dare to completely let go on the out breath in silence, moment by moment. Let go of that which no longer serves you, whether it is an aspect of yourself you have outgrown, a behaviour that has become an obstacle to your will, or some material baggage that you no longer need in your life.

Cancer represents Cheth of the Tree of Life, (  עֵץ הַחַיִּיםEtz haChayim) the path that leads from the great Mother Binah to Geburah. Upon the armour of the Charioteer are arrayed the ten Stars of Assiah: “the inheritance of the celestial dew from his mother.” Cheth has the Qabalistic value of 418 – Cheth 8, Yod 10 and Tau 400. The Master Therion has said of this number:

 
“This is one of the most important key numbers of Liber AL.It is the number of the word of the Aeon, ABRAHADABRA, the cypher Great Work. (See The Equinox of the Gods, p.138. Also The Temple of Solomon the King.) On this word alone a complete volume could, and should be written.”

Over the last three weeks, visiting international Brothers Tom, David & Patrick from the US and Ireland respectively have treated us to three excellent guest lectures on the demonising the entheogenic sacred feminine in the history of witchcraft, the roots of our rituals in older masonic traditions and the possible hidden but important role of peyote and peyotism in Crowley’s development of Thelema. Many thanks indeed to them for the very high quality of their personal work and their willingness to share it with us in clear and engaging presentations.

Many thanks also to those who had confirmed for these events but let us know by text or email when they couldn’t make it on the day. If you do confirm for an event but have problems on the day, always take time to let us know – a really short text will do! – sometimes we delay the start of events for the arrival of people who have confirmed but in the end don’t turn up.

  • Friday 14th: Thelemic Workings
  • Friday 21st: Second Degree Explanation Meeting (Second Degree and above only)
  • Sunday 30th: Celebration of the Gnostic Mass
