Greetings of the Summer Solstice

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

“There are rituals of the elements and feasts of the times.” (AL, II:36)

Greetings of the Summer Solstice, as the Sun entered the cardinal sign of Water: despite the heavy rain, more reminiscent of Novembrine moods, here at AMeTh Lodge we will once again gather and celebrate properly with a suitable Feast.

Here’s a suitable invocation for this day, from the Solar permutation of  the Zodiac Sign of Cancer, from Liber ΘΗΣΑΥΡΟΥ ΕΙΔΩΛΩΝ Sub Figurâ DCCCCLXIII – The Treasure House of Images:

O Thou Sovran All-Beholding eternal Sun, who lappest up the constellations of heaven, as a thirsty thief a jar of ancient wine. I know Thee! O Thou dawn-wing’d courtesan of light, who makest me to reel with one kiss of Thy mouth, as a leaf cast into the flames of a furnace.

Love is the law, love under will.
